After one week of Handball-Planet.com Voting Contest for the World’s Best Player 2012, media attention worldwide and number of votes on our nominations are impressive – 9410 fans already used the oportunity to give a vote to one of the seven candidates. Czech’s star Filip Jicha keep the lead with the biggest support (2824 votes – 30,1%) ahead of Mikkel Hansen (1943 – 20,64%) and now, Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson (1667 – 17,71%).

Only three coaches have deserved nominations for the World’s best coach in Men’s Handball this year. Question is really difficult, but until now Icelandic handball fans and THW Kiel’s supportes obviously were the most enthusiastic – Alfred Gislason is the leader with 58% of the votes.
