Legendary French goalkeeper Thierry Omeyer (39) admitted for the French media that he could finish his career in the national team after World Championship 2017 in France. One of the best goalie of all-time began his career in the national team in 1999 with Daniel Constantini which gave him a chance to be a part of all major successes of the French handball except the first World’s gold medal in Iceland in 1995.
Omeyer has contract with PSG Handball until summer 2017, when he will be a 41.
However, playing in front of home fans in Paris Bercy and Lille Stadium sounds like a perfect way for farewell party.
