The highest attendance in the history of German Bundesliga – THW Kiel No.1
The German Bundesliga has built its own product in post-corona time.
The season 2023/2024 was the most popular in number of the fans who watched 34 rounds of matches all round Germany.
In total, 1.596.370 fans have seen 544 matches during the season. In average, it is 5.216 fans per match.
The most popular team stayed THW Kiel. Even the season was one of the worst in recent history, “Zebras” didn’t lose the trust of their fans at Wunderino Arena. In average, 10.159 fans supported THW Kiel on the home stands.
At the second place in number of fans at home matches are Fuchse Berlin. In average, 8.310 fans cheered for the second place this season.
That current form and love of the fans are not in correlation showing the case of Rhein Neckar Lowen. Far below standards (12th place) was the season of the “Lions”, but fans still showing emotion and support – 8.061 in average.
