Aalborg beat SC Magdeburg for the Final 2024!
Aalborg Handbold are the first finalists of the EHF Champions League Final4 2024.
The Danish champions beat German SC Magdeburg 28:26 (10:10) to reach the second ever EHF CL final after debut in 2021, when they lost against FC Barcelona.
It was a hard fight between two teams in which Danes were making chances for scoring a bit easier. Two teams were always on 1-goal gap until the last minute, when Aalborg finally broke the resistance of the defending champions.
Mad Hoxer was TOP scorer in the winning squad with eight goals, while on the other side, another lefthander Omar Ingi Magnusson with 10.
Fabian Norsten was good replacement for Niklas Landin in the most of the match with 8 saves, while Landin was in crucial moments in the best shape with three saves in the last two minutes.
