RK PPD Zagreb celebrated first win of the season at VELUX EHF Champions League! Croatian champions who changed coach Veselin Vujovic after four defeats in a row at the start of the European elite competition, were lost after first 30 minutes, but they managed to make fantastic turnover and beat RK Vardar 28:27 (12:17)!
Over 7.000 fans witnessed surprisingly good last 20 minutes in which goalkeeper of home team Ivan Stevanovic had fantastic role with 17 saves, just like left wing Dobrivoje Markovic with 6 of 6.
On the other side, Alex Dujshebaev netted five goals, despite the fact that he missed some period od match due injury.
