O’Brian Nyateu to replace Minne in HBC Nantes as “medical joker”

HBC Nantes reacted quickly on knee injury of Aymeric Minne and signed back French center-back O’Brian Nyateu to the club as a medical joker. His arrival is effective immediately, with a contract running until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
Having joined the HBC Nantes training center in 2009, the young Bordeaux-born playmaker progressed through the ranks of “Le H” under the guidance of Grégory Cojean. In 2012, he signed his first professional contract with his formative club. With Nantes, he won the club’s first titles (the League Cup in 2015 and the French Cup in 2017), played his first European matches, and participated in the Champions League.
In 2017, he joined USAM Nîmes before continuing his career with Dunkerque, which he joined in 2022.
Looking for a medical joker for the remainder of the 24-25 season, HBC Nantes reached an agreement with O’Brian Nyateu (32 years old) and his current club, USDK, allowing the center-back to immediately reinforce the Nantes squad in both the Liqui Moly StarLigue and the Champions League.
