Niklas Landin to retire after Olympics 2024

Niklas Landin will finish his career at the national team of Denmark after Olympics 2024.

The 36-years old Danish goalie announced his intention to conclude national team career with the Olympic tournament in Paris in August in an interview for national TV 2.

Landin has debut at big stage at World Championship 2009 in Croatia alongside legendary Kasper Hvidt.

In 15 years, together with Hansenand Co., Landin won all major titles. Denmark has been Olympic champion in 2016, win three World Championship in a row between 2019 and 2023, but also European gold in Belgrade 2012.

Landin, who will continue to play at Danish Aalborg Handbold, won also EHF Champions League crown with THW Kiel in “corona Final4” 2020.
