After years of struggling, the Macedonian team RK Metalurg are on the way of consolidation.
The two-times EHF Champions League TOP 8 members have lost the place at the elite European club’s competition in battle with RK Vardar and RK Eurofarm Pelister, but some new challenges are in front of the team led by experienced Montenegrian coach Zoran Kastratovic.
The 33-years old shooter coming from RK Proleter Zrenjanin, his first professional team, where he tried to re-establish career after many years under pressure in Germany, where he was a part of Frisch Auf Goppingen, MT Melsungen and Rhein Neckar Lowen.
Rnic, who won the silver medal with Serbia at Men’s EHF EURO 2012 in Belgrade, played also in Slovenia at RK Gorenje and RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko.
