Montenegro won the crucial battle for the Women’s EHF EURO 2014 semi-finals against Sweden 30:29 (13:18) after problematic first half and furious finish. Team led by Dragan Adžić ensured the chance to defend the trophy won two years ago in Serbia. Reigning champions made fantastic come back in Zagreb Arena after -5 at the half-time, but also without the vital part of defense, Suzana Lazovic who is sent off after only 9 minutes of the clash due foul on Linnea Torstensson.
Jovanka RAdičević had outstanding evening with 9 goals.
Montenegro won the Group 2, so it is clear now that Bulatovic and Co. will wait the better team from Spain – Denmark encounter in Budapest semi-final on Friday.
