MONSTER MENTALITY: Marko Grgić unstoppable in the Bundesliga

Fans of the German team ThSV Eisenach can sleep peacefully for another season when thinking about their Bundesliga status. A club expected to struggle for survival due to its budget is playing excellently, led by the new star of German handball, and possibly even world handball, Marko Grgić. The left back, born in 2003, has had a double-digit performance in six consecutive matches in the strongest league in the world. It’s no longer surprising that the Croatian-born player was taken by Alfred Gislason to the Paris Olympic Games last summer, something few expected.
Grgić is the Bundesliga’s top scorer with 185 goals, 12 more than Mathias Gidsel.
