After three fantastic years in EHF Champions League, it seems that Macedonian RK Metalurg Skopje will miss to qualify for the TOP 16 phase. Lino Červar’s men missed the chance to beat Belarussian outfit Meshkov Brest 27:27 (12:14). Serbian left back Nikola Manojlović scored equalizer before the buzzer. With the results no one can be happy, because both teams are now under the line which lead to TOP 16, with tough schedule in the next two rounds.
RK Metalurg will play against THW Kiel in “Sparkassen Arena” and PPD Zagreb in Skopje, but only two victories could keep their dreams alive.
