After a phenomenal season with SG Flensburg-Handewitt, which saw the north-German club winning the Champions League, and also saving the most shots in the Bundesliga – more than any other keeper, the voters of the Flensburg homepage rightly chose Mattias Andersson as the team’s player of the season. The Swedish won 37,1% of the votes, and second came Thomas Mogensen with 22,9%, while third is Jim Gottfridsson with 9,1%.
