Florentin Pera to overtake Romanian women’s national team


Romanian Handball Federation announced that Florin Pera will be the new head-coach of the women’s national team.
“I want to thank the technical committee and especially all the coaches for the vote of confidence granted, reason for confidence and responsibility in a new and important challenge of my career. Even though I coached a top team in Europe with the goal of winning the Champions League, I can say that the position of coach is a dream come true for me, a great honor but also a great responsibility. I am a coach who dedicates himself and puts his soul 100% into every match, something that I want to impress on the players in the national team. I put group strength and collective play first, said Pera in his statement, who will replace Adrian Vasile.
Pera was a successful on the bench of Valcea, where he won Romanian championship in 2019. In the last season he worked in CSKA Moscow.
