Motor Zaporozhye and Kadetten Schaffhausen celebrated easy victories at the start of the VELUX EHF Champions League 2017/18. The Ukrainian champions showed domination over Russian best team Chekhovskie Medvedi 36:23 (21:16) with Malasinskas and Pukhouski in the main role with seven and six goals.
The Swiss champions Kadetten Schaffhausen had no problem to outplay Norwegian Elverum Handball 36:30 (17:15). YOung left back Luka Maros netted eight goals, one more than experienced Hungarian playmaker Gabor Csaszar.
