Netherlands stayed without chances for quarter-final at World Championship 2025. Coach Staffan Olsson and left back Dani Baijens talked for Handball-Planet.com about the match against France and the whole performance during the tournament:
- We need to do a really good performance and France to underperform, but…both teams were solid. I am quite satisfied with performance of my team. We done it good tournament. At least is one more game to play. I am really satisfied with performance and attitude of my team – said Dutch coach Staffan Olsson.
Dani Baijens talked
- We played some good games, but we knew that if we lost game against Hungary, our chances will be small. I think was a really big chance to get into the quarter-final this year, Just as our coach said it is easier to stay at the TOP than to make that step forward. We are trying every year but it’s difficult – said Baijens.
