Save of Montenegrian goalkeeper Ljubica Nenezic in the last second of the last match at Women’s EHF EURO 2020 against Spain 26:26 (11:17) brought her team 8th position in the final placement.
Montenegrian girls, without few important players like Bulatovic, Raicevic and Rajcic, and new-promoted coach Kim Rasmussen only 10 days before the tournament, fought bravely to find the way to the TOP 8 in Europe.
They lost two clashes with goal difference against France and Russia and proved that good handball is still played by Women’s EHF EURO 2012 champions.
