Ali Zein to join Hungarian Veszprem?

The Egyptian left back, Ali Zein, will join the Hungarian club Veszprém from the next season, according to different sources. Coach Xavi Pascual is evidently gathering players in Veszprém Arena with whom he has previously worked. After Luka Cindrić and Aron Pálmarsson, it’s now the turn of the talented Egyptian, who had a good championship with his national team but was again halted in the quarterfinals in Zagreb, where they were defeated by France.

The 34-year-old Zein is expected to swap his Dinamo Bucharest jersey for that of the Hungarian champion. He first arrived in Europe at the age of 26, joining the French club Aix. In the 2021/2022 season, he played for Barcelona.

Ali Zein, born on December 14, 1990, in Alexandria, Egypt, is a professional handball player known for his versatility and skill on the court. Standing at 1.95 meters, he primarily plays as a left back. Throughout his career, Zein has showcased his talent both domestically and internationally.
