Nikolaos Liapis completed the quartet of new signings for GRK Ohrid
The new signing for ambitious GRK Ohrid, Greek line-player Nikolaos Liapis, will join the club in summer 2025. Member of Greek Olympiacos addressed all the fans of the Macedonian Super League club with a video message, saying that he is happy to be part of this ambitious project.
“I am very happy to announce that I will be part of your team and join this big project from next season. The team has big ambitions, and I am ready to work hard to achieve the set goals. I can’t wait to see you on the field,” said Liapis.
Before him, the new ambitious project in Macedonian handball is strengthened by coach Boris Rojevic, right back Predrag Vejin and two players from Bundesliga teams, Slovenian playmaker Tilen Strmljan and Croatian left back Ante Ivankovic.
GRK Ohrid are currently the fourth team of Macedonian Super League behind RK Eurofarm Pelister, RK Vardar and RK Alkaloid, but with all this signings it will be interesting to see what they can do in the upcoming season.
