Legendary Norwegian goalkeeper Katrin Lunde suffered tough knee injury during the match at Women’s EHF Champions League Final4 in Budapest, where her Viper Kristiansand beat Metz handball for the first EHF CL medal.
The 39-years old goalkeeper has ligaments injury which means up to nine months out of the playing court. The “golden girl” of Norwegian handball will certainly miss upcoming IHF World Championship 2019. It could be even worse for handball if Lunde decide to finish professional career.
