Victory over Russia 27:26 was the last match for Petr Stochl in his proffesional career. The 42-years old Czech goalie helped his compatriots to win the first match of the Play-Off for the World Championship 2019 in Germany and Denmark, but appearance in Plzen was his last, as he won’t play in second, away clash.
“This was my last match. I had no Russian VISA”, said Fuchse Berlin goalkeeper after all.
Stochl played in German club last 12 years and became iconic face of two times IHF Super Globe winners.
