Only four days after they lost home match 22:30, THW Kiel have found power to raise form and beat same rivals at their “FLENS ARENA” – 26:25 (17:13). Team of Alfred Gislason put off tremendeous pressure from the stands full of fans of eternal rivals and celebrated in another fantastic EHF Champions League derby match.
THW Kiel’s goalkeepers, Andreas Wolff and Niklas Landin made clear advantage on side of away team, while Niklas Ekberg scored six goals for the winners. On the other side, Anders Eggert netted seven, but he, as his team-mates, missed some important shots in the last 10 minutes.
