Norwegian national team player and EX-THW Kiel member Erlend Mamelund announced retirement for summer 2017! The 32-years old left back, but firstly, defensive specialist, had desire to finish his career even earlier but a call from the handball institution like THW Kiel, extended his handball life, when he left his Haslum HK for a while.
Mamelund began his career in Haslum HK, afterwards he player at HSG Nordhorn, SG Flensburg-Handewitt, FC København and Montpellier HB.
Is it 33 time to say goodbye to handball, it’s right question, but obviously guys in Norway have chance to make career even without proffesional sport.
