The best team of Hungary and the runners-up of the EHF Champions League, Telekom Veszprem, had an interesting SEHA weekend in Macedonian capital of Skopje. Two matches and an earthquake in only two days can describe all what team of Xavi Sabate experienced there.
RK Vardar Skopje beat Veszprem 29:22 (16:12) in their first big battle in new season. Igor Karacic netted nine goals for the winning team, while Momir Ilic scored eight for the Hungarians.
Day after, Telekom Veszprem managed to raise the form and outplay motivated domestic RK Metalurg Skopje 23:20 (14:10). Dragan Gajic netted five goals for the winners, while extra-talented left back of Metalurg, Marko Nelovski scored four for his team.
RK Gorenje celebrated first ever SEHA win over RK Nexe 24:20, while RK Celje Pivovarna Laško celebrated routine win in Presov over Tatran 31:25.0
