At their first match in front of their spectators in Aalborg, Denmark celebrated an easy win against Serbia 25:20 (14:6). The match was decided in the first half, when home team make a huge gap – from 7:5 to 13:5. Danish national coach, Jan Pytlick was relieved after the match:
– I’m very relieved. It means a lot that we won. There was pressure, because Serbia is the worst team in the group, so I am very relieved that we won. It means a lot to open with a victory” said Danish coach.
